Business Developer – Google Maps Platform

To give a further boost to our business in Belgium, we are looking for a new colleague with plenty of commercial talent:

Do you want to score at a dynamic scale-up company in the technology sector? Does sales sound like music to your ears? Then we need to have an urgent talk. As a highly motivated business developer at Localyse, you will get to work with both Google’s prospect lists and your own in order to introduce and sell our Google Maps solutions to new customers. You are not afraid of opening new doors with location-based solutions at prospects and offering multiple services. Besides the Google Maps services, you also discuss the Google Cloud offering and convince customers of these services. You analyse and identify customer needs, gather insights into their business processes and present the appropriate solution. You negotiate with CTOs, IT directors, product managers, product owners and contract managers. Finally, you make sure the right deals are made.

Do you recognise yourself in this profile?

  • Convincing potential new customers about location-based solutions and Google Maps APIs, that’s what you go for.
  • You completed higher education, or have the equivalent through experience.
  • Your mother tongue is Dutch and you have an excellent knowledge of English.
  • You have the necessary commercial B2B experience in a high-tech environment.
  • You are a strong negotiator, networking is second nature to you.
  • You obtain energy from proactively approaching and prospecting for new customers by convincing them of the added value of our solutions.
  • You take the initiative spontaneously and enjoy working independently, from start to finish. You also function well in a team.
  • You are open, curious and enthusiastic. You like exploring unfamiliar areas and are not afraid of taking responsibility.
