Data Analyst

Localyse is looking for a Data Analyst to join its team. We are seeking dynamic individuals who are passionate about data to join our Data Analytics consulting practice. You will join a talented team of cloud specialists, and engineers who share a passion for helping clients unlock value in their data and deliver insights that matter.

You are responsible for

• Data Management
  • Analysing key client data flows, processes and business events 
  • Data modelling to enable analytics at-scale 
  • Data ingestion into BigQuery using Google Cloud solutions
  • Building data pipelines to clean, transform and present data in BigQuery
• Data Analytics
  • Identifying key data insights (both predictive and reactive) that will help businesses unlock value
  • Designing and building feature-rich dashboards
• AI and Machine Learning
  • Running advanced machine learning and AI models to generate predictive analytics
  • Leveraging Google’s rich suite of data science technologies for analysis

Skills and Experience

• 2 years+ of experience with public cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and/or AWS is a plus)
• Knowledge in cloud architecture application hosting for both hybrid & non-hybrid solutions, having knowledge of Google Anthos is a plus
• Experience in the following is advantageous: data analysis, data modelling, data science, SQL
• Understanding of multiple regression analyses
• Ability to handle large volume of data
• Familiarity with a scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby)
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
