Localyse at the Vakbeurs Mobiliteit | 26 November 2026

vakbeurs

On Thursday 26 November 2026, Localyse will be exhibiting at the Vakbeurs Mobiliteit (Mobility Trade Fair). Visit us at stand 3.05 and discover how, together, we can close the gap between your physical infrastructure and the digital map. Because if the road signs outside are correct but Google Maps still sends travellers the wrong way, who is really in control?

Our message at the fair is clear: let navigation drive the way you want it to. And how you get there is up to you. You can take control of the digital public space yourself with our Improve Maps e-learning, or opt for the fast solution and outsource complex map edits to us. Our talk: The Valkenburg aan de Geul case study

How parking policy and digital data reinforce each other

  • Time: 2:30 pm
  • Room: Red

How do you make sure visitors actually find the right car parks? In Valkenburg aan de Geul, this was a crucial part of implementing the new parking policy plan.

As interim project manager on behalf of Kwirkey, Jurjen Feld first got the physical basics in order: better signage on the streets and a redesigned website. But reality proved stubborn: visitors don’t navigate by road signs, they navigate by Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. To prevent unnecessary search traffic in the municipality, they decided to step in and correct the digital findability as well (physical = digital).

In this talk, Jeffrey Benning (Localyse) and Jurjen Feld (on behalf of the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul) explain how this process worked. From gathering “irrefutable” evidence for the map platforms to the successful correction. They show what valuable data you unlock as a road or area manager, and how dramatically accessibility improves when you stop waiting to see what the algorithm will do.
